The First Nations Clean Energy Network is hosting an energy gathering for First Nations community members living in Victoria on Tuesday 31 March 2026.
The clean energy transition is unfolding at a rapid pace in Victoria to address the impacts of climate change and replace ageing fossil fuel-powered electricity, with solar and onshore/offshore wind farms, battery storage systems, and new electricity transmission projects reshaping the energy landscape.
First Nations people and communities are rights holders and critical partners in this clean energy transition.
It’s essential that our people and communities are equipped to manage and explore emerging opportunities in First Nations-led clean energy development and partnerships, as well as understand the risks.
