Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Victoria First Nations Clean Energy Gathering on Dja Dja Wurrung djandak.
The gathering brought together Victorian Traditional Owner Groups and First Nations community-led examples from Wambal Bila, Barngarla Determination Aboriginal Corporation and Taku River Tlingit First Nation Government on 31 March 2026.
These community members centred First Nations leadership in the clean energy transition, shared knowledge and approaches of project negotiations and equity agreements, and showcased exampled of First Nations owned renewable energy projects.
During the day on Dja Dja Wurrung djandak, we held powerful conversations on community-led solutions and once again distilled that renewable energy projects have better business outcomes when they engage, have benefits and are led by Traditional Owners.
We’re grateful to the Elders, speakers and participants who made this space so meaningful.
The momentum doesn’t stop here — this is just the beginning.
Stay connected as we continue to support and amplify First Nations clean energy leadership.
