The First Nations Clean Energy Network invites you to register your interest in attending our 3rd First Nations Clean Energy Symposium to be held on Thursday 14 August and Friday 15 August 2025.
There are now 20 significant First Nations clean energy project partnerships in development to-date in Australia.
Developing renewable energy projects brings affordable reliable clean power to our homes and communities.
First Nations groups aim to work closely in the development of clean energy projects on Country, including owning a stake, or initiating our own projects.
In Canada, Indigenous nations are now the second largest asset owners of renewable energy, with thousands of small to large scale clean energy projects.
It will happen here too. Together, we must build an equitable transition with First Nations as partners and developers, stemming from meaningful engagement, informed consent, and a seat at the table.
Our 3rd First Nations Clean Energy Symposium brings First Nations leaders, communities, government decision-makers, investors, and industry partners together to drive real change in the clean energy transition - centering First Nations leadership, rights, and self-determination.
This is a space for us to share knowledge, set new standards, and work together to ensure clean energy works for our communities.
It’s about solutions that respect Country, create opportunities, and put First Nations in control of our energy future.
Join us to be part of the conversation and the work ahead.
