We’re thrilled to announce that from nearly 100 applicants, 26 emerging First Nations leaders from around the country have been selected to participate in PowerMakers 2025.
PowerMakers 2025 is being held from 13 - 16 October 2025 in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Northern Territory.
Building on PowerMakers 2023 and PowerMakers 2024, our PowerMakers 2025 curriculum is designed to merge theoretical concepts with real-world applications, with participants having the unique opportunity to engage with industry experts, mentors, and like-minded peers who share our enthusiasm for renewable energy.
Our goal is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to ensure they emerge from PowerMakers as a leader in the clean energy transition, capable of successfully advancing clean energy projects and driving positive change in communities.
A big thank you to everyone who applied. Your enthusiasm for clean energy and First Nations participation, leadership and benefit-sharing is immensely significant, and highlights how far we’ve come in the last few years.
We will hold PowerMakers again in 2026 so stay tuned. Only First Nations Members of the First Nations Clean Energy Network are invited to submit an EOI (expression of interest) to be considered for participation in our PowerMakers programs. We look forward to meeting the PowerMakers 2025 cohort in Mparntwe!
