Victoria First Nations Clean Energy Gathering

The First Nations Clean Energy Network is inviting Victorian First Nations peoples and those working for Traditional Owner Corporations to a Victorian Energy Gathering.

This one-day event will be a pivotal for Traditional Owners and First Nations communities across Victoria to network with a focus on negotiations with energy proponents, Treaty related energy negotiations and an opportunity to unpack renewable energy equity arrangements.

The Gathering will provide a space to:

  • Share information and opportunities for First Nations 
  • Spark new ideas and innovative strategies 
  • Develop collaborative partnerships among First Nations communities
  • Share learnings and best practices in clean energy development and implementation within First Nations communities in SA 
  • Hear from others leading the way and share your own experiences

At this event we aim to foster a space for sharing knowledge, generating innovative ideas, and developing collaborative strategies for implementing and partnering in clean energy solutions for First Nations. 

Workshop details: 

  • Dates: Tuesday 31st of March
  • Time: 10am - 4pm
  • Venue: Larnangurrak, the Dja Dja Wurrung Corporate and Community Centre, 43 Hattam Street, Golden Square
  • Cost: Free of charge - travel and accommodation assistance for a number of community members is available where required.
