New ‘Building Capacity of Proponents’ toolkit now online

The clean energy transition in Australia cannot and will not happen without First Nations. That’s why we’ve designed our ‘Building Capacity of Proponents’ toolkit.

Our new online toolkit is for proponents, investors, governments.

First Nations are leaders, decision-makers, and landholders in Australia’s clean energy future, with sovereign rights and interests, and deep connections to Country.

We are not passive stakeholders, we are rights-holders. Our early and meaningful engagement is no longer a nice-to-have, it’s a strategic and legal necessity.

Our ‘Building Capacity of Proponents' toolkit removes excuses. It assists proponents with who to talk to in their early and meaningful engagement with First Nations and across the clean energy project lifecycle — leading to trusting relationships, benefit-sharing and equity, strong agreements and partnerships, and sustainability on Country for generations to come.

The ‘Building Capacity of Proponents’ toolkit is now live on our website (under Tool Kit).
