Where do I find First Nations businesses?

Most States and Territories have First Nations business chambers and jurisdiction-wide databases of First Nations businesses and organisations.

Australia-wide

The National Indigenous Business Chambers Alliance is a collective of majority-owned Indigenous business chambers from most States/Territories advocating for a First Nations-led, place-based approach to growing the Indigenous business sector.

Non-profit Supply Nation runs a database (called Indigenous Business Direct) of verified First Nations businesses.

  • Registered Indigenous business enterprises are 50% Indigenous-owned and are registered with Indigenous Business Direct.
  • Certified Indigenous business enterprises are 51% or more Indigenous-owned, managed and controlled, and have been verified by Supply Nation and are approved and published online on Indigenous Business Direct. Certified businesses use the Supply Nation logo as an identifier.

Industry Capability Network (ICN) is a business network providing a list of (unverified) First Nations suppliers.
