The First Nations Clean Energy Network has been at the forefront of getting First Nations people involved in the energy revolution and to ensure that they will be part of the new energy industry into the future.

First Nations leaders from Australia and Canada are meeting with the Federal Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen on 17th October and Members of Parliament and over 40 clean energy leaders on the 18th to share Canada’s experience and learnings to successfully ensure First Nations partner in Australia’s energy transition.

Our First Nations friends in Canada and the US are well advanced in using clean energy to transform communities, creating jobs, business opportunities and a clean future. Hear case studies of community power and how we can apply the lessons in Australia.
