Ganur is a descendant of the Kamilaroi people from north west NSW and an Associate at the Federal Court of Australia. He was previously a lawyer in the environment and planning department of a top-tier law firm and a Lisa Wright Scholarship intern at the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research at ANU.
