A new community building was built with solar and a silent diesel generator, on property of the Bulla/Ebatarinja families.
At the Alpintharra bush camp, half an hour from Ntaria (Hermannsburg), the family initially built a shed, but it was too hot to sleep.
With funding from their Watarrka National Park income and the help of Hardy Fencing NT, an Aboriginal-owned company from Alice Springs, they now enjoy power at night and the possibility of cold storage for food, but most importantly the ability of their family to visit and stay on Country.
A family benefiting from solar power to help them stay on Country.
